12 Études Op. 10 No. 2 and No. 4 [Flute Quartet]

《12 Études Op.10》 is a work composed by Frédéric Chopin (1810?-1849), a composer of Polish origin. It consists of 12 etudes for piano.
Although Chopin is strongly associated with Poland, he lived in France from 1831 onwards and died in Paris. Most of his compositions are solo piano pieces, and he is often called the "Poet of the Piano."
This work was composed between 1829 and 1832 and published in 1833. Although it is an etude for piano, it can be described as an artistic work imbued with Chopin's unique beauty.

No. 2 in A minor Allegro, 4/4 time. Also known as "Chromatic." When played on the piano, handling the inner voice of the right hand is a practice challenge. In the flute quartet version, the flowing melodies are passed between instruments, and the inner voices and bass are played continuously.

No. 4 in C-sharp minor Allegretto ma non troppo, F-sharp minor, 4/4 time. When played on the piano, managing the changes in contrast is a practice challenge. In the flute quartet, achieving these contrast changes requires a high level of difficulty as the parts are distributed among the players.
