Yamamoto Akano

Born in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture in 2000. Began comprehensive music studies at Yamaha Music School at age 3. In 2016, received 2nd prize in Division D at the 1st Yamaha Junior Piano Competition Grand Final (Kioi Hall, Tokyo). In the same year, held a solo piano concert at Orient Hall to commemorate the award. In 2017, appeared in the Yamaha Highlight Concert in Hamamatsu 2017, making it her second consecutive appearance after the 2016 Nagoya concert. Currently enrolled in the Piano Composition course at Tokyo College of Music. Previously studied under Noriko Kodama and Takako Okamoto, and currently studies under Masahiro Kawakami and Mari Takeda.
