Kotani Aruto

Born in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture. During junior high school, he was a member of the orchestra, and during high school, he was a member of the wind orchestra, playing percussion in both. In 2010, he enrolled in the Arranging and Composition Department of Shobi Music College. Upon graduation, he transferred to the third year of the Composition Course in the Comprehensive Music Academy Department of the same college. He graduated in 2014. During his studies, he participated in the college labels "AVE10" and "ZAVA8." His CDs were sold on major e-commerce site Amazon. After graduation, he has been involved in composing and arranging activities and percussion instruction at various schools in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, while also assisting various community wind orchestras as a percussionist. He studied composition under Satoshi Yagisawa, Manabu Iwata, and Masato Tsuyuki, piano under Reiko Ara, and percussion under Hiroyuki Masuda.
