Days Gone By [Trombone Quartet]
*This is the trombone quartet version. The trombone quintet version is here!
This is an insert song from Studio Ghibli's "Porco Rosso."
Please play it with a jazzy and mature feel. However, I don't think it should be too rustic, so a refined stylishness might be important. I don't think the melody needs to be played too rigidly, but there are many harmonized sections, so be careful not to fall out of sync.
For the nuance of the quarter notes in the accompaniment, please listen carefully to the original piano version for reference. It's no exaggeration to say that these quarter notes determine the character of the song.
Overall, it proceeds mostly at mf, but I think it would be cool to use the p at the end to create a dramatic drop, adding a nice little touch.
