Morning Song of a Clown [Saxophone Sextet]
This is an arrangement for saxophone sextet of "Alborada del Gracioso," the fourth movement from "Miroirs" by Maurice Ravel, a leading composer of modern France. The piece unfolds with Spanish rhythms and melodies. Known as a difficult piece for piano, this arrangement is also highly challenging. The middle section, famous for its bassoon solo in the orchestral version, is played by the tenor saxophone. We hope you enjoy the sound of the saxophone ensemble.
