【From the Author's Shop Product Page】
This is Perfect Scale for Saxophone Vol. 2! It contains everything you need for fundamental scale practice. It also includes altissimo training, which has become standard in the 21st century.
Additionally, it provides all altissimo fingerings for soprano to baritone saxophones.
With this book, you will have no trouble with scale practice. Almost all classical melodic movements are included within.
Contents:
・All major, harmonic minor, and melodic minor scales with intervals up to an octave
・Triad arpeggios and four-note chord arpeggios for all the above scales
・Altissimo training (scales and 3rd & 4th intervals)
・SATB altissimo fingering charts
・Five types of chromatic intervals
This book may seem very difficult compared to Vol. 1, but if you diligently work through Vol. 1 and have good fingerings, you will quickly get used to it.
The altissimo range has many ledger lines, and at first glance, it might be hard to tell what notes they are. However, the musical movement is regular, so you will likely start predicting the notes before reading them. And as you do so, you will find yourself counting ledger lines less and less.
Above all, the SATB altissimo fingering charts included in this book are excellent.
Soprano supervised by Nikita Zimin and Kenta Saito
Alto supervised by Yo Matsushita and Jérôme Laran
Tenor supervised by Satoshi Kato
Baritone supervised by Makoto Hondo
All fingerings reach the highest possible notes, and they are fingerings used by actual players. Plus, everyone provides a little advice ^^ Let's master altissimo freely with refined fingerings~~!!
