Studio Ghibli's first feature-length animated film directed by Hayao Miyazaki, "Laputa: Castle in the Sky," produced in 1986, remains popular and vibrant even after nearly 30 years since its release. In arranging this piece, I aimed to express the grandeur of the original (orchestral) piece with four saxophones, evoking the imagery of the film. Please strive for a performance with clear dynamics and distinct articulation. (Yuto Yamada)
